Despite Kerala’s high literacy rates, quality education is often unaffordable. Evergreen School near Kozhikode, Kerala, has filled this gap since 2006. Established by Voice of a Child and the Neo-Humanist Education Charitable Trust, Evergreen offers affordable, holistic education up to 4th grade. Combining academic excellence with strong moral and spiritual values, the school fosters leadership, creativity, and environmental care. Beyond stellar academics, students benefit from yoga, meditation, music, dance, and hands-on learning experiences.
While the current programs are self-sufficient and sustainable, Evergreen School seeks donations to expand its impact, upgrade infrastructure, and support low-income families. Your contribution can make a valuable difference for some of Kerala’s most deserving children.

Voice Of a Child (VOC), in partnership with the Neo-Humanist Education Charitable Trust, established Evergreen School in 2006, in Vengali, near Kozhikode. Starting with a mere 18 children in our Lower Kindergarten Program, we have grown to nourish 160 children from preschool to 4th grade each year.
Our goals include:
- Helping students excel in academic subjects.
- Building a strong moral foundation, including love, care, and respect for all.
- Fostering spiritual values and understanding of mankind’s unity.
- Encouraging leadership, creativity, language, and art skills.
- Instilling love and care for the environment.
- Addressing local social issues by uniting staff, parents, and the community.
- Built a large 6000 sq ft, two-story school building
- 1st level was built in 2018 and 2nd level in 2022
- Facilities include: 9 Classrooms, Library, Computer lab, Activity room and Meditation room
- Our school is self-sufficient, allowing for sustained growth.
- We have provided outstanding academic opportunities since 2006. Our students easily transition to prestigious local middle schools after graduation.
- In addition to academics, we provide yoga, meditation, music, and dance classes, which integrate the principles of Neo-Humanistic Education.
- We established the Prabhat Music School to nurture local talent in music, dance, and art.
- We provide memorable and practical learning experiences such as field trips and annual cultural shows. We use hands-on and tactical learning to enhance education.
- We conduct ongoing teacher training to uphold standards of excellence.
