Computer donation for prison inmates completed (Philippines)

Letter received from AMURT Philippines:

This morning representatives AMURT Philippines turned-over one set of computer equipment donated by ” Voice of a Child ” to the Alternative Learning System of the Las Piñas City Jail. The inmates were so happy with the donation.

There was a simple ceremony before regular classes wherein we emphasized the importance of the opportunity given to them. We have made arrangements to monitor the programs progress with the commitment that if results are encouraging we shall continue to support the project. AMURT Philippines has committed to shoulder the cost of maintenance of the computer equipment.
