Food distribution:
Aided by international security forces, AMURTEL distributed massive amount of rice, beans, salt, oil and water purifying tablets in collaboration with ACTED, UMCOR and Global Medic organizations, to over 7000 families. People reciprocated sympathetic love and care which they felt from AMURTEL volunteers. This is a vital element in recovery of dignity and confidence of people in getting their lives back together.

AMURTEL work continues in the following categories:
Medical care to 747 people
Food distribution to 15,900 people, and tarp distribution to 200 people completed.
Family size Tents provided to four families as temporary shelters.
AMURTEL initiated building of 32 latrines, which is expected to serve about 4000 people.
