White Lotus School, Jarabulus, Syria
Empower Syrian refugee children by providing a safe learning environment for them to thrive. The Syrian border town of Jarabulus is host to more than 150,000 refugees. In 2023, Voice of a Child partnered with the local community to establish White Lotus Computer Technology Institute and White Lotus Kindergarten, ensuring a brighter future for the children and young adults within the refugee community.
Women's sewing enterprise, west bengal, india
Empower village families towards economic self-sufficiency in rural West Bengal. The Ananda Nagar Women’s Sewing Enterprise has the goal to provide sewing competency skills to women of the Purulia district in the form of six-month work/study internship programs. We plan to do so by providing sewing and stitching skills and thereby empowering them financially.
Primary Healthcare, Ebonyi, Nigeria
VOC in partnership with AMURT has achieved remarkable success in transforming healthcare in some of Nigeria’s most neglected regions. Ten fully equipped health centers, providing life-saving procedures. Delivered over 27,000 babies, and installed essential medical equipment, such as portable ultrasound machines and ambulances, to ensure timely and effective care.
Abha Seva Sadan Hospital, West Bengal, India
Located in Purulia district (West Bengal), one of India’s poorest and most neglected regions, the hospital serves a community suffering from poor health conditions, malnutrition, and high illiteracy rates. VOC formed a partnership with the hospital and has worked closely with its management to improve facilities and expand the range of services provided.
Evergreen School, Kerala, India
Established by Voice of a Child, Evergreen School offers affordable, holistic education up to 7th grade. Combining academic excellence with strong moral and spiritual values, the school fosters leadership, creativity, and environmental care. Beyond stellar academics, students benefit from yoga, meditation, music, dance, and hands-on learning experiences.
Comm DEALL Special Education, Bangalore, India
Voice Of a Child established a partnership with Communication DEALL in December 2012. This project, based in Bangalore, India, is an indigenous early intervention program for children with Autism that is geared to the particular socio-economic context of India. The individualized program provides motor, social, cognitive and communication training to children with pervasive developmental disorders.
