Project Summary
Voice Of a Child is proud to partner with India Community Center (ICC) at Sevathon 2024, their 16th annual 5K – 10K – Half Marathon – Yogathon – Dance-a-thon event! Sevathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 at Vasona Park in Los Gatos (San Francisco Bay Area).
What is Sevathon?
Sevathon is an India Community Center (ICC) initiative that helps nonprofit organizations like ours to fundraise for our causes, and your registrations and contributions will help benefit Voice Of a Child’s initiatives.

Target Project for Sevathon 2024
Funds raised during Sevathon 2024 will be used to support the Abha Seva Sadan Hospital project situated in Purulia district, West Bengal, one of the most impoverished and underdeveloped regions of India. The area is predominantly populated by tribal villagers who face significant challenges such as lack of education, chronic diseases, and malnutrition.
For the villagers, Abha Seva Sadan Hospital is a vital lifeline for their medical needs, as the nearest alternative hospital is 25 kilometers away. Established in 1963, Abha Seva Sadan currently serves over 100,000 people from 85 surrounding villages, providing essential healthcare services to this marginalized community.
