Donations from Helping Hands for Haiti will support the work of Voice of a Child, a 501(c)(3) non-profit which funds relief activities which target the needs of children through its sister-organization, AMURT/AMURTEL.  Presently professionals are providing medical care, managing food and medical supply distribution, and creating safe temporary shelter for approximately 1000 children. AMURT/AMURTEL has been operating schools and providing ongoing medical relief work and community-building activities in Haiti for over twenty years and has earned the trust and respect of the local community, government and United Nations.

Maui School of Therapeutic Massage is a Hawaii Department of Education state-approved vocational school with full- and part-time programs commencing each year in March and September.  The school regularly offers massage as a community service to seniors through Hale Mahaolu, at local fundraisers such as Relay for Life, a benefit for the American Cancer Society, and at sporting events such as the Maui Marathon, the Maui Oceanfront Marathon, and the Hana Relay.
